Nicole S. Mallma is an immigration attorney who is passionate about protecting the legal rights of her clients throughout the life cycle of their immigration cases. Ms. Mallma represents clients in removal proceedings before U.S. immigration courts, in family and employment-based petitions before US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), and in custody and guardianship cases before Maryland Circuit Courts and the D.C. Superior Court.

Before joining Wilkes Legal as an Associate Attorney in August 2022, Ms. Mallma worked as an immigration attorney for a Maryland law firm. Ms. Mallma has an impressive rate of success in her deportation cases, winning asylum and cancellation of removal for numerous clients. Ms. Mallma also maintains a brisk motions practice before the immigration courts and the Board of Immigration Appeals.

As a law school student, Ms. Mallma worked as a legal intern at nonprofit organizations providing immigration legal services in Charleston, South Carolina and Washington, DC. At these organizations, she prepared applications for asylum and for U Visas for survivors of crime and violence. Ms. Mallma also worked as a student intern at the Charleston County Public Defender's Office in South Carolina, assisting Public Defenders representing indigent clients in criminal matters.

Ms. Mallma holds a Master’s of Law with a specialization in Immigration Law and Policy from the American University Washington College of Law, a Juris Doctor from Charleston School of Law, and a Bachelor's in Legal Studies with a minor in Women’s Studies from Quinnipiac University in Connecticut.

Ms. Mallma is fluent in English and Spanish and is licensed to practice law in Maryland and Washington, DC.
