P-3 Visas for Artists and Entertainers

We regularly assist applicants with P-3 visas, a visa category for those active in unique or traditional ethnic, folk, cultural, musical, theatrical or artistic performance. P-3 visas allow artists and entertainers, either individually or as part of a group, to temporarily come to the United States to share and develop their art form for up to a year, with the possibility of extensions. This type of visa allows visits for both commercial and non-commercial activities provided the applicant plans to participate in a cultural event and further the understanding or development of their art form. P-3 visa holders may also be accompanied by family members and essential support personnel. Artists and performers seeking a P-3 visa must be sponsored by a U.S. employer, agent or organization.
